
Wall, Richard Herbert, age 88, passed away February 1, 2011 at UT Hospital, in Knoxville. He was born March 24, 1922 in Phoenixville, PA to the late William Delano Wall and Dorothy Saul Wall. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Sevierville and retired from Columbia Power and Water Systems in Columbia, Tennessee. He was a 50 year member of Lexington #1 F & AM, Lexington KY., and a member of the Columbia Kiwanis Club. He drove with the Pigeon Forge Trolley Lines for 10 years from 1988-1998. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in Europe with the 75th Division. He was a disabled veteran and Prisoner of War. Survivors include wife of 64 years, Joyce A. Wall; daughters, Marie Tomlin, Columbia, TN and Dottie Curci, Clinton, Township, Michigan; grandchildren, Dawn Shepard, Dublin, GA, Jeffrey Hand, Murfreesboro, TN, Michael Tomlin, Columbia, TN, Rachael Heath, Sandy, Utah, Dennis Curci, Jr., Clinton Township, Michigan; 5 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; brother, Robert Wall, Havertown, PA.; several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, February 5, 2011, Berry Chapel, with Rev. Scott Andrews officiating. Interment will be held at Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, Kentucky. The family will receive friends 12:00-2:00 pm Saturday in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Sevierville, TN TV Ministries.
