Robert Lee Fields

Bob honorably served his country as a Navy Corpsman, proudly attached to a Marine Corps unit during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he dedicated over 50 years to Kroger Grocery Company, where he worked in various positions, including grocery manager.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ruth Fields; brothers, Michael and Jerry Fields; and sister, Barbara Jean Voight.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Mary "Carol" Fields; children, Kim Dunnock (John), Bobby Fields, Tracy Parris (Tony Wilson), and Nicole Smith (Steven); and eight grandchildren, Justin and Jacob Kirby, Kayla and Chelsey Parris, Natalie, Madison, and Matthew Fields, and Elijah Wilson. He is also survived by his siblings, Sandy Watkins, Kathy Roberts (Carl), Ruthie Garner (Bob), and Butch Fields (Sharon).

Bob will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, and his service to both his country and community.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 3pm at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery.
