Robert Luther Pruitt, Jr.

Robert Luther Pruitt, Jr. age 65 of Knoxville, TN passed away January 11, 2025. He was a graduate of Young High School. Robert had a passion for music – shown through playing the guitar, piano, and singing. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Preceded in death by his mother and father, Shirley Pridemore and Bob Pruitt, Sr.; granddaughter, BreOnna Hahn; uncle, Charlie Pruitt; brothers-in-law, Everett Ray Long, Clyde “Pete” Long and Frederick Long; sister-in-law, Trula Jane Long; and mother-in-law, Lillian A. Long.

He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Carolyn Hahn Pruitt; daughters, Samantha Hickle, Sabrina Burroughs and Cayla Hahn; son, Christopher Burroughs; brother, Andrew Pruitt; sisters: Julie Chambers, Janice Harmon, Ellen Barr (Gary); sister-in-law, Mickie Lauderdale; brother-in-law, Curtis Long; grandchildren: Kaitlyn Abner, Samuel Hatfield, Andrew Hickle (Sabrina), Aleia Burroughs (Cody), Brookelyn Hickle, Cory Burroughs, and Bailey Beckner; great-grandchildren: Everleigh Gibson and Jason Hatfield; special niece, Brandy Gibbs.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 – 6:00 PM Saturday, January 18, 2025 with a funeral service to follow at 6:00 PM, at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920.
