Robert Thomas Seffernick Jr.

Robert Thomas Seffernick Jr., age 59, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022. Bob was born on December 2, 1962 in Jackson, Michigan. He was the eldest son of Diane and Robert Seffernick. The family moved to Knoxville in 1973. Bob graduated from Bearden High School in 1981 and went on to earn his associates degree in Computer Technology at Pellissippi State Community College. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time on his grandparents farm with his family. Bob was a compassionate and caring man, always there to support his friends and family.

Bob is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Mary Nastally; paternal grandparents, John and Elizabeth Seffernick; maternal uncles, John Nastally, Robert Nastally, Bill (Jean) Nastally, Joseph Meert; maternal aunt, Jean (Dick) Beitelschies; paternal uncle, David (Corrinne) Seffernick, David Yeager and several cousins.

Bob will be missed by his parents, Diane and Robert, Sr.; brother, Matthew (Traci) Seffernick; sisters, Catherine (John) Palmieri, Sarah (Kevin) Norris; nephews, David, Jeffrey and Joel; nieces, Diane, Marihelen and Jennifer; great-niece, Emmalynn; maternal aunt, Gloria Meert, Mae Nastally; paternal uncles, Tim (Debra), John (Sandy), Jim, and Bill Seffernick; paternal aunts, Lois Yeager, Nancy (Glen) Stuard, Betty (Bob) Kubish, Mary (James) Washington, Carol (Matthew) Shannon and Susan Seffernick; many beloved cousins and best friend, Shawn King.

A funeral service will be held for Bob on Friday, November 11, 2022 at 2pm at The Cathedral of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, 711 Northshore Drive, with a reception to follow at the Shea Room.
