MCFALLS, ROXIE “KATHERINE”- age 81 of Knoxville went home to be with her heavenly Father in the arms of her family on November 3, 2010 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Graduate of Powell High School, class of 1947, she worked for Standard Knitting Mills for 20 years and was a loving caregiver for 15 years at Hillcrest North. Preceded in death by parents Charles and Gladys Weaver, loving husband; Howard (Cherry) McFalls, and her only son Lynn McFalls. Survived by daughters Jane (John) Larsen, Kathy (Robert) Rice, and Angie (David) Brown, 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, devoted siblings, Gurtie Browning, Arlina Adams, Patsy Davis, Charles (C.C.) Weaver, and Wanda Clowers. Family would like to thank Dr. Feng and the nurses at Tennessee Cancer Center North. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Friday with a short service to follow at 8 pm. Family and friends will meet 1:45 pm Saturday at Bell’s Campground Cemetery for a 2 pm interment.
