He is preceded in death by his parents, Ray Lee Woody and Mary Jane McMerree Woody; sister, Sandy Clevenger; step daughters, Cindy and Missy.
Roy is survived by his brother, Tommy Woody; sisters, Edna Mae Padgett, Ethel Brown and husband Eugene, and Janice Mills; step daughters, Becky, Connie and Penny; special niece Tammy Kity Miller and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Roy will be held Wednesday, July 30, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a funeral service immediately following at 7:00 pm at Berry Highland South 9010 E Simpson Rd, Knoxville, TN 37920. Family and friends will gather for a graveside service,Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 11:00 for at Berry Highland South Cemetery. Services will be officiated by Brother Charlie Reynolds.
