Rudy Burchell

Rudy Burchell, age 87 of New Market, TN passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022. He was a graduate of Young High School, and went on to work at Knox Transit, eventually retiring from Panasonic. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, gardening, watching the Vols play, history, and genealogy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Audrey Hall Burchell; siblings, Roy Lee Jr. "Buddy" Burchell (Irene), Mazell "Sis" Miller (Herb), Virginia Mount (Gene), Jean Varnes, Bobby Burchell (Billie); brother-in-law, Jim Carroll; first wife, Patricia Burchell; daughter-in-law, Karen Burchell.

Rudy leaves behind his loving wife of 26 years, Shirl Hinkle Burchell; sister, Mary Carroll; brother-in-law, Lester Varnes; children, Larry Burchell, Lisa Latorre (Manny), Kristy McWilliams (Mike); grandchildren, Matthew Latorre (Kellie), Heather Latorre (Marty), Paige Burchell (William Moorefield), Madison McWilliams, Morgan McWilliams; great-grandchild, Nathan Latorre, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, November 21, 2022 at Woodlawn Cemetery.
