Mrs. Sarah Davis

Sarah Davis of Knoxville, TN, age 79 went home to be with the Lord Saturday, December 31, 2016. Sarah was treasured by many. She was a loving mother and a loyal friend. Always offering a warm meal with a loving smile and a place to stay if needed. This very special lady with a great sense of humor and a quick wit will forever be in our hearts. She is preceded in death by husband of 36 years Tom Davis, Parents Grover and Dexter Hayes, Sisters, Christine, LuVine, Jessie May and brother, Willard. Survived by daughters Debbie and Rick Bayles, Tammy Davis of Knoxville. Sisters, Betty Ann Long, Peggy Devotie of Morristown Clarence Hayes of Tallbott. Special Granddaughter Sarah Phillips. Many special nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Berry Highland Memorial, 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919 on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM. A funeral service will follow at 7:00PM. Burial will take place at Berry Highland West Cemetery, 9913 Sherrill Blvd. Knoxville, TN 37932 on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 1:00PM. The Pallbearers will be, Kevin DeVotie, Chris DeVotie, Jeff Eubanks, John Eubanks, Zach Eubanks. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Williams and John Stansberry.
