Palmer, Scotty Brooks, age 39, passed away suddenly due to injuries received in an automobile accident on March 24. He was an active member of Strawberry Plains Presbyterian Church, a devoted father and husband; he was a 1991 graduate of Carter High School and received his BA degree in Engineering from ETSU in 2002. He was an employee of Blair Companies, formerly Plasti-Line Corporation. He is survived by his wife Crystal, son Ransom and daughter Alexis. His parents RB & Phyllis Palmer, uncles Bobby and wife Patti Palmer, Jackie and wife Glenda Palmer, Rick and wife Barbra Ensley and Larry and wife Peggy Ensley, Bobby “Peanut” and wife Beth Palmer and Special friends Wayne Serpas, Jason Pilant, Rodney Oglesby, Darren Russell, and Michael Limbaugh.Family will receive friends at McCarty Evergreen Funeral Home on Friday night 6-8 pm.
