Mrs. Sharon Diane Phipps

Funeral services for Sharon Diane Phipps, 54, will be held Wednesday, September 19th at 5:00 pm at Crest Lawn Funeral Home in Cookeville with Dr. David Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 18th from 4:00 – 6:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.

Mrs. Phipps passed away Sunday, September 16, 2007 at St. Mary’s Health Care in Knoxville, TN. She was born October 23, 1952 in Cookeville, TN to her mother Winnie E. Mayberry Roberts and her late father Hollis C. Roberts. Mrs. Roberts worked as an Executive Secretary at Enterprise Information Systems in Washington, D.C. She was a loving, devoted pastor’s wife to her husband Richard, a loving mother and grandmother and was loved by all she met.

Daughter: Lorrin M Leonard & husband Chris of Jacksonville, FL

Sons: Jason P Phipps of Philadelphia, PA and Jonathon N Phipps & wife Kathleen of Athens, GA

Mother: Winnie Roberts of Cookeville

Brother: Glen Roberts & wife Villette of Cookeville

Granddaughter: Alexandria Phipps of Orlando, FL

Mrs. Phipps was preceded in death by her father
