Stella Faye Kerley

Faye Kerley, age 90, of Knoxville went to her Heavenly home Saturday, September 2, 2017. She was a lifelong member of Meridian Baptist Church. Faye enjoyed going to music on Thursday mornings at the South Knoxville Senior Center and various outings with the LLL Ministry from church. She was an avid UT sports fan. Preceded in death by her husband, Hillard Kerley; son, Mike Kerley; parents, Bill and Effie Helton; brothers, Joe, Clyde (Bush) and Lloyd Helton; sisters, Louise Head and Myrle Vaughan. Survived by daughter and son in-law, Debbie and Sid Hullet; grandson, Terry Kerley; great grandsons, Tyler and Trisden Kerley; brother, Sam Helton; sister in-law, Reva Ford; special friends, Flo Barnes and Georgia Tarwater; several nieces and nephews. Special thank you to the staff of Island Home Park Health and Rehab for their care and compassion shown to Faye and family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Island Home Park Health and Rehab or Meridian Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 6th from 5:30-7:30 pm at Berry Highland South Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow with Pastor Dana Fachman officiating.
