Thomas Michael Hughes

Thomas Michael Hughes, age 72, of Knoxville, passed away from natural causes on Monday, January 25, 2021. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, son, and loved by many in the community. Tom was an avid sports fan and loved his Tennessee Vols. He spent much of his time in the Smoky Mountains and loved the outdoors. He will be missed. Tom was preceded in death by parents, Owen, Mattie and Vella. He is survived by son, Michael (Tambara) Hughes; and daughter, Kristen (Christopher) Williams. 3 grandchildren, Olivia, Elijah, and Ace; 3 brothers, Daniel (Paula) Hughes, Patrick (Leona) Hughes, and David (Rebecca) Hughes; sister, Nancy (Frank) Dunn and several nieces and nephew.
