Thomas "Tom" Lucius Madden, age 65, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away peacefully on Friday, March 14, 2025. His name "Big Tom" was not only a description of his stature but his big impact on others, huge personality, and gigantic heart. Tom loved spending time with his friends, family, and extended family, especially those who called the Webber Road neighborhood their home. You could always find Tom on the water, enjoying live music or with a camera in his hand capturing life's most precious moments.
Preceded in death by parents, Luke and Melba Madden; grandparents, Cota and Minnie Tharp, Fred and Stella Madden.
Tom is survived by cousins, Jack (Becky) Irwin, Dean (Rhonda) Tharp, Debbie (Ed) Anderson, and nephews, Shaun and Ben Kitts.
A Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville with a service to follow at 7:00 PM officiated by Rev. Buddy Johnson. Family and friends will gather Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Woodlawn Cemetery, 4500 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville for an 11:00 AM Interment Service.
