Chambers Jr., Walter B., age 85 of Maryville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 5, 2011. He was a graduate of Maryville High School and Maryville College. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II as a Tailgunner and a photographer. He was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church. He taught for 23 years at St. Andrews School in Sewanee and retired from Blount County School System. He was also a member of the Rockford Masonic Lodge. Preceded in death by wife Margaret Chambers. Survived by children, Laura Chambers and David Chambers; grandchildren, James Walter Bradburn, Erica Bradburn, Jessica Chambers and special friends, Robert Gibson, Susan Norton, Holly Lakins. Services will be held at St. Andrews Episcopal Church at 3:00 PM Saturday, July 9, 2011 with Rev. Bob Beasley.
