Wanda Faye Cupp, age 87, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away on February 25, 2026. Born July 3, 1938, Wanda was raised in North Knoxville in the Happy Holler Community, the daughter of Fred and Estella Shiflet.
Wanda married Earl Cupp in 1961, and they shared 54 years of marriage until Earl's passing in 2015.
A devoted woman of faith, church was Wanda's favorite place to be. She loved her family, the mountains and traveling. She also enjoyed following the Atlanta Braves.
Wanda is survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Rob) Patrick, Sherrie (Marty) Black; grandchildren, Adam (Kelli) Patrick, Holly (Bailey) Thomas and Rhys (Cori) Patrick; great grandchildren, Heidi, Hunter Ann, Maverick, Emery, Baylor and Brayden; sisters, Joan (Ed) Fowler, Betty Holloway; brother, Glen Shiflet and a multitude of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael "Scott" Cupp.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home, beginning at 12:00 noon, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery at 3:00 p.m.
