Wanda Fay King Payne

Payne, Wanda Fay- age 63 of Knoxville loved the Lord with all her heart. On December 4, 2010, she went home to be with Him after a lengthy illness. Wanda was a member of Faith Temple Church of God and a faithful volunteer at FISH Hospitality Food Pantry. Preceded in death by her father, Charley King; mother, Mary Hawkins; sister, Betty Horner. Survived by: son, Kenneth Egbert and wife, Beth of New Market; sisters, Linda Greene (Walter) of Knoxville, Sandra King of Texas; brothers, Hershel Valentine (Gerry) of Texas, John Valentine (Glenda) of Texas; special nephews, Mitchell Love (Joann) of Knoxville, Melvin Love of Alabama; special friend, Bill Keener and several nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends Monday, December 6, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Faith Temple Church of God with funeral service to follow at 8:00 pm. Officiating will be Pastor Bobby Hollingsworth and Rev. Loy Janeway. Family and friends will meet at 10:30 am at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway Tuesday to go in procession to Mt. Olive Cemetery for an 11:00 am interment.
