Rusty, I am so sorry to hear about Larry. He was a very special person. I have such great memories of you both. I’m so sorry I am out of town for his service. Please know you are in my heart. Sending much love and  many prayers to you.

Working with Larry many years ago is how it began, but neither of us expected the friendship that grew.  Larry's glowing smile and loving spirit filled many years with laughter and fun, out by the pool and in the SUN where Larry loved to be.  I am blessed with many wonderful memories to cherish: watching football together, sitting on the back porch just talking and spending time catching up, and many a good meal ending with cup o' coffee and a piece of Russ's pie. 

We had many goods times together ~ I love you and miss you, my sweet friend, Larry!

My heart is with you in your time of sorrow and grief.  Larry will be greatly missed but his warmth kindness and gentle spirit will be remembered forever.  I will always remember Larry's smile and I will treasure our friendship forever.  

My memories of Larry are many, but his love of UT Volunteer sports was what we shared. Football, basketball, didn't matter the sport - Larry loved everything about the Volunteers and was a 'forever fan'.  That big, huge smile beaming from ear to ear showed how much he loved his team.   Larry knew what it meant to be a volunteer and lived his life with that Volunteer spirit, ALWAYS!

The world is a little dimmer without Larry's smile.  I will miss our conversations, laughter and sharing dog pictures,  but mostly those big hugs of his.  RIP my friend.

I will never forget the first time I met Larry--square jaw, beautiful captivating eyes, and a smile that lit up the room. While visiting Russ, his beloved and devoted husband, it seemed as though Larry was always working, not just working, but sharing his knowledge and patience to his fellow co-workers. From conversations with Russ, Larry was an extraordinary giver to his family. 

It seemed as though he was born to be a part of sun and sea and the never ending tide. The beach pictures give hint to movie star handsome. 

To his family, I pray each day after Larry's passing, you hold on to those wonderful days of laughter and good times. He struggled to live as long as possible, but he's in peaceful hands now. 

Larry was one of my lifetime best friends and one of the most genuinely good people I have ever known.  He would do anything for you-- if you needed a friend, he was there.  He was a kind gentle spirit, always smiling and cheerful, and just a joy to be around.
He and I want to many UT football games together (Go Vols!) and, with Russ, shared many other happy fun  life experiences as good friends.  Those were truly the good old days, best memories ever!!!
 I will always cherish the wonderful  memories of our friendship. He was truly a beautiful sweet blessing in my life, one of the very best!!

Larry was my big brother's best friend. He called me Lil' sis. He lived one block from our house. He and my brother were in band together and always had fun marching in parades and our high school band. After they graduated the same year my brother moved on campus but Larry was still living at home. I was lost without my brother around and I went to see Larry. We talked and talked and listened to music. I still think of him to this day when I hear a Janis Joplin song. I'm really going to miss him. Rest in peace dear friend. 

Russ,  my heart breaks for you!   Larry was a wonderful and special guy.    My thoughts and prayers are with you my friend.   I love you very much!

I have many great memories of Larry, he is my first cousin, but more like a brother. We grew up together in a big, very loving family. We played all kinds of things together when we were small and growing up. My last good memory was a couple of weeks ago when I spent the night with him. He was such a loving, caring and giving person. I have a special place in my heart that I am going to tuck him away in and never let him go. I’m gonna miss you so much, I love you William Larry Bunch and will see you again.    

I worked side by side with Larry for many years.  I don't know I got through some of those days in the early years without Larry making me laugh or one of the looks he would give. I am sorry this earth lost such a great soul.  Russ you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Larry's passing. I have very fond memories of working alongside him for many years.  He was a passionate person with a wonderful sense of humor.  Russ, please know that I will be praying for you in the days ahead.
