William was a member of Henderson Chapel Baptist Church. He was a devoted member for many years in the Masonic Lodge. He was a member of the Order of the Odd Fellowes - Degree Scottish Rite and was currently a member of the Lodge 360 of Sevierville, former member of Lodge 149 if New Smyrna, FL. was very involved with community outreach and enjoyed helping others. William loved to play in his yard and dig up those pesky dandelions. William enjoyed spending time with his loving wife at the Cracker Barrel in Sevierville where he was lovingly known as Wild Bill, but most of all he loved taking care of his wife Helen.
He is preceded in death by his son, William F. Culbertson, Jr.. William is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Helen; daughter, Karen (David) Roberts; son, Carl (Kathy) Freeburg; grandchildren, Heather (Jeffrey), Leann, Matthew and 4 great grandchildren.
