William Edward Sweat III

William Edward Sweat III, 33, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2025. Will attended a variety of schools and played multiple sports. In Will’s personal time he enjoyed music and had a passion for creating recipes. Will, will be forever missed by all who had the privilege to call him friend.

Preceded in passing by his sisters, Amanda Long, Beth Sweat; aunt, Sherry Leighton.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving parents William Edward Sweat Jr. and Kristi Sue Russell; sister, Laura Dalton; grandparents, Marian and Gene Scarlett; uncle, Mike Scarlett; niece, Taylor Hoskins; nephew, William York; cousins, Megan Edwards, Ashley Gurren, Jennifer and Jessica Scarlett, Zack Scarlett, and many other close friends and family members too numerous to name.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Will at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920, on Saturday, February 15, 2025, with a receiving of friends from 2:00pm to 5:00pm with a funeral service to follow at 5:00pm, with Pastor Joe Chandler to officiate the service.
