Willie Jane Ball, age 97 of Knoxville, passed away July 18, 2017. She was born September 25, 1919 in Sevier County, Tennessee. Preceded in death by her parents, William H. Rule and Mellie J. Gibson Rule; siblings, Augusta Farmer, Agness Gibson, Genevieve Huckins, Theo Rule and Edna Turner. Survived by her son, Samuel David Ball; grandchildren, Christine (Michael) Ball-Blakely, Samuel L. Ball and Sarah Ball. Visitation will be held Friday at Weaver Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 pm.
