

Worth Eugene Campbell, 89, passed away peacefully after a brief illness Saturday, April, 30, 2016 surrounded by his family. Worth was a graduate of Knoxville High (1945) and continued his commitment on the board of Knoxville High Alumni Association. He served his country in WWII then entered the University of Tennessee, lettering in cross-country. Worth embarked on a career in advertising at Robertshaw Controls. Community involvement included the L.I.F.T. Group, Greater Knoxville Tennis Association, Knoxville Racquet Club, Junior Achievement, Arnstein Jewish Community Center, The Fulton Retirees Organization, and Sacred Heart Church where he was a founding parishioner. Worth is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ann; parents, James Hill and Linne Campbell; brothers, John and James; sister, Hilda; and son-in-law, William Morrow. He is survived by his daughters, Teri (Rick) Balter, Missy Morrow, Catherine (Don) Musick; brother, Robert (Nora Jo) Campbell; grandchildren, Addison (fiancée Rachel Nevle) Musick, Katie Delle Morrow, Max and Alex Balter, step-grandson Jonathan (Mandi) Morrow, step-great grandchildren, Austin, Sarah Beth and Madison. A celebration Mass will be held Tuesday, May 3, 1:00 PM, Sacred Heart Cathedral with burial to follow at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery. Family to receive friends Monday, May 2, 5-7 PM concluding with a prayer service at Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home, 5315 Kingston Pike Knoxville, TN 37919.
