Wynell Bertha Galyon

Galyon, Wynell Bertha, 88 of Knoxville, TN went to be with her Lord Tuesday, August 30, 2016. She was long time member of Valley Grove Baptist Church. Wynell was an avid gardener who loved her flowers. Mamaw was the best loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Wallace Galyon; parents, George and Bertha Smith; sister, Louise Brackett; brother, Ester Smith. Wynell is survived by her sons, Dave (Billie Faye) Galyon, Brent (Autumn) Galyon; grandchildren, Lory (Kenny) Cansler, Brian (Nikki) Tipton, Bobby (Christy) Tipton, Daniel Galyon, Sabrina Gibson, Brittany Galyon, Tea Galyon, Jeremy Galyon, Logan Galyon, Ella Grace Galyon; great grandchildren, Tyler Cansler, Kenny Cansler, Alyssa Tipton, Ellianna Tipton, Jayden Galyon, Dravin Galyon; sister, Dorothy Bridges; special niece, Traca Johnson; a host of nieces, nephews and other family. Special thanks to the wonderful, caring staff of UT Hospice including, Shannon, Monica, Jana, Kathleen, April, Jennifer, Ron, Gloria, Dexter, Tara, Chasity, Rachel, Ann, Subrenna and special caregiver, Melody Zaborski. Family will receive friends at Valley Grove Baptist Church Friday, September 2nd from 5-7pm with funeral service directly following. Service to be officiated by Pastor Keith Vaughn and Pastor Bruce Yates. Family will meet at Berry Highland South Saturday, September 3rd at 11:45am for burial at 12pm.
