Alexia Edmundson

Alexia L. Edmundson, 50, Kokomo, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at Community Howard Regional. She was born March 5, 1963, in Kokomo, to George and Willie (Trice) Stevenson. She married James L. “Hollywood” Edmundson, Sr., and he preceded her in death on April 26, 2009.

She graduated from Haworth High School and had worked as head cashier at Sam’s Club in Kokomo. She was a member of the Dragons Motorcycle Club in Kokomo and Second Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her parents; one son, James Edmundson, Jr.; two daughters, Farris Edmundson, and Latessa Edmundson; one grandchild, LaDanian Talbert; one brother, John C. (Loretta) Bender; two sisters, Debbie Stevenson, and Dallas Carr; niece, Jessica Toliver; great-niece, Xiamora Morgan; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Tommy Lee Bender, Sr.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 28, 2013, at Second Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Meriwether officiating. Entombment will follow in Kokomo Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church.
