

Brian graduated from Hayworth High School in 1976. He worked in hotel and property management throughout his life. Brian enjoyed cooking and having family dinners. He was also enjoyed keeping tropical fish. Brian was an avid IU fan and loved the Indy 500, as he had fond memories of going to the race with his parents.
He was known as a caring man who was a caregiver to both his parents until their passing. Brian organized an annual Alzheimer's/Dementia walk with his family in honor of his father and grandfather. He loved dogs, especially his granddogs, Milo, Lucy, Noa, and Brie. Brian adored life long friendships with some of his best friends who became more like family to him. Above all, Brian enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters.
Surviving family include two daughters, Courtney (Brian) Carness and Charla (Jeremy) Calvert-Clem; granddaughters, Riley Clem and Emily Carness; brother, Mike (Carol) Calvert; sister, Sherry Little; nieces, Kristen Calvert and Amy (Barry) Rhodes; nephew, Justin (Brandy) Sumner; great nieces, London Bratz and Charlie Rhodes; amd several aunts and cousins.
Preceded in death are his parents; uncles, Doran Calvert and Ronald Calvert; aunts, Cleora Kouns and Mary Calvert; and cousin, Gary Calvert.
A Celebration of Life is being planned for Memorial Day Weekend. Details of event will be provided as soon as possible.
