Carleen Yvette Small

Yvette Small left us on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at 4:30 PM to be with her parents and son. She was born on February 1, 1953. Yvette was one of a kind and a kindred soul with a huge heart. She enjoyed music, dancing, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a longtime patron and regular at the Club Oasis. Yvette worked at Saint Joseph Hospital for several years.

She will be sadly missed by many people especially her longtime partner of many years, Rhett Vickers. She had a sister, Yvonne Davis and brother, Tim Eldridge. She was the loving mother of the late, Tommy Small, Shanyn Stanley, Erynne Herron, Brandi (Kasey) Hutchins, Tabatha (Ryan Schafer) Bowman; 8 grandchildren, Sasha, Kayla, Karysa, Courtney, Ciara, Brisas, Demri and Jack. She was blessed to have 6 great-grandchildren. She will be missed by many friends.

She was preceded in death by her adoptive parents, John Eldridge and Deloris Welden; adoptive step-father, George Welden; great-granddaughter, Arieal.

Visitation will be 12:00 - 4:00 Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Ellers Mortuary. Funeral services will be at 4:00 pm Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Ellers Mortuary 725 S. Main Street Kokomo, Indiana 46901. Share a memory with the family at www.ellersmortuary.com.
