Charles Frederick Springer

Charles Frederick Springer, 83, went to be with the Lord on April 18th, 2018. Charles was born to Ralph and Edna Springer on July 15th, 1934 in Miami County, Indiana. He married his wife of 54 years, Lulu Belle Bugher, on November 28th, 1959. They met at Bible Baptist Church, where they continued to attend for years.

Charles attended General Motors Institute, graduating with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering in 1957, then went on to work at Delco Electronics for 41 years, retiring in 1994.

Once retired, Charles enjoyed relaxing at home, listening to music, watching sports and sci-fi shows. Charles served at Bible Baptist as a deacon. Charles was the missionary chairman of his church for a number of years and he and Lu enjoyed hosting missionaries in their home.

Charles is survived buy his children Kimberla (Jeffrey) Weed, Julia Springer, Ellen Young, and Eric (Ruth Abigail) Springer; siblings Cindy (Dick) Thomas and Jeff (Robin) Springer; 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Charles is preceded in passing by his wife, Lulu Belle Springer; his parents; brothers Gary Springer (Patricia survives) and Vince Springer (Helen survives).

Friends and family may call from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Monday, April 23rd, at Bible Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Dan Murphy. Charles will be laid to rest at Albright Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Missions at Bible Baptist Church.
