Dana L. Romack

After graduating from Young America High School in 1943, she served her country during World War II in the United States Navy. She married Allen M. Romack November 17, 1944, in Gainesville, Texas, and he survives. In 1986, she retired from the Kokomo Family YMCA.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, are their three children, Nancy L. Harris (Fred), Kokomo, Melody A. Julian (Timothy), Columbus, Ohio, and Jim E. Romack (Carol), Galveston. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one sister-in-law, Marilyn Raines, Kokomo.

Preceding her in death were her parents, four sisters, and two brothers.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made in her name to the National Kidney Foundation.
