Danny Leon Edmonds, 74, of Kokomo passed away at 12:52 AM February 2, 2019. He was born August 15, 1944 to Hubert and Wanda (Cameron) Edmonds in Frankfort Indiana. On May 7, 2007 in Kokomo, he married Brenda (Carter), who survives. He was employed at Delco for 34 years, retiring in 1999. Danny enjoyed Fishing, boxing and football especially the Colts. He was a member of the VFW at Large Indiana Post and was extremely proud of this 20 Years of service in the Army and Air Force earning his way to the officer ranks. Danny was grateful for his 45 years of sober living and his time in the Fellowship club. He was an inspiration to those who wanted to find sobriety. He was a member of the Judson Road Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife Brenda, son Doug Edmonds, four daughters; Kelly Edmonds, Stacy (Tim) Schwiebert, Wanda Conley, Julie Eads and step-children Barbara (Randy) Jacobs, Kristopher (Felicia) Carter; also a brother Kirby (Brenda) Edmonds. There are eight grandchildren, four step grandchildren, two great grandchildren with one expected in April. Danny was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be 1:00 PM Friday February 8, 2019 at Judson Road Christian Church, 2006 Judson Road, Kokomo. Pastor Brandon Bentch will officiate. A gathering of friends and family will be from 11:00 AM until time of service. Contributions may be made to the Fellowship Club, 1301 N Webster St. Kokomo, IN 46901.
