David William Long

David William Long, age 53, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. He was born on March 9, 1969 in Columbus, OH to the late Gale and Elizabeth (Lewton) Long. David married Carmon (Phillips) Long on August 13, 1999 in Kokomo, and she survives.

David worked for Cossell's Creative Landscaping for over 26 years as a landscaper, where he never missed a day. He always talked about getting back to work and enjoying his work family, Brent and Ann Cossell. He loved being outside and enjoyed working in the yard, playing with his dogs, or whatever critter he would come across. There wasn't an animal he didn't love.

He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Carmon; two sisters, Melissa Cruz-Long and Vanessa Beard; several nieces and nephews, Gabe, Mikayla, Logan, Jayden, and Sabre; and several great-nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law, Ryan (Melissa) Phillips and Matthew Phillips; sister-in-law, Stacy (Hector) Gonzalez; mother-in-law, Gloria Kearnes; and his chosen-brother, Steve (Tamara) Houser.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
