David Ray Sprinkle

David Ray Sprinkle, age 85, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023 at Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo. He was born October 3, 1938 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Glenn and Melba (Werner) Sprinkle. He married Janice (Johnson) Sprinkle on January 15, 1964 in Wabash. She precedes him in death on April 16, 2017.

David attended Central High School in Fort Wayne. He joined the United States Air Force in 1957 and served for three years. He retired from Chrysler as a set-up operator from 1967 to 1997. He enjoyed riding his Cam Am motorcycle, traveling, and camping. He had a never-ending bucket list and lived life to the fullest.

He is survived by three daughters, Lisa (Charles "Bub") Mikesell, of North Manchester, Kelly (Carl) Smith, of Wabash, and Toni Russell, of Kokomo; grandchildren, Chad Heck, Trent Heck, Ashlee Sprinkle, Danielle (Brent) Swan, April Richmond, and Skyler (Remington) Monce; great-grandchildren, Tyler Heck, Parker Heck, Jaydan Simmons, Cali Francis, Alyce Sparlin, Demarcus Wright, Colten, Brennan, and Anna Swan; and River Monce; sister Nancy (Jim) Herber; and special companion, Caroline Barton.

Preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Janice; his parents, and brother, Mike Sprinkle.

There will be a time of visitation for David on Friday, November 10, 2023 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at Ellers Mortuary Webster Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo. Final resting place will be at Grant Memorial Park in Marion, Indiana. Pastor Darren Chittick will be officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in David's memory to donor's choice.
