Don D Cohee

Don D. Cohee, 99, Kokomo passed away August 1, 2022, in Kokomo, Indiana. He was born June 13, 1923, in Greentown, Indiana to William Bert and Julia Cohee. Don was a WWII veteran who served in 6 theatres. He worked for Cuneo Press until they went out of business, then he worked various miscellaneous jobs. He enjoyed bowling, playing pool, watching old westerns, and playing cards. “Cobra” will be sadly missed by his poker buddies and those at the senior center. Don was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Brantley-Cohee; both parents; and his 4 siblings. Don will be fondly remembered by his son, Ronald (Pat) Cohee, Gas City, Indiana; daughter, Diana Cohee, Crossville, Tennessee; 3 grandchildren, Bryan Cohee, Puerto Rico; Heather (Ian) Shively, Peru, Indiana; and Heather (Hannah) Swarts, Marion, Indiana; 4 great-grandchildren Abbigail Cohee, Lainey Coy, Harper Shively, and Hadley Shively; and several special nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation for Don Tuesday, August 9, from 10am until the funeral service at 12pm, at Ellers Mortuary and Cremation Center, 3400 S. Webster St., Kokomo. Burial will immediately follow the funeral service at his final resting place, Greenlawn Cemetery, Greentown, IN. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Kokomo Senior Citizens Center.
