Edna M Bowman

Edna Mary Bowman, 107, went Home to be with the Lord on April 3rd, 2019. Edna was born to Otis and Cary Hill on May 20th, 1911 in Urbana, Ohio. She was a 1931 graduate of Urbana High School, then went on to marry Frederick Bowman on May 1st, 1939 and he preceded her in passing on April 4th, 1959. Edna retired from Cabot Stellite in January 1972 after 30 years of service. Edna enjoyed playing bridge with her friends, cooking, knitting, fishing, and she was an avid reader. Edna is survived by her grandchildren Adrian (Donald) Murphy, Angela Weatherspoon and Quincy L. Bowman; great-grandchildren Bricson Weatherspoon & Rickey (Duran) Myles, Brooke Weatherspoon, Ashley & Brandy Johnson; and a host of great, great grandchildren. She is preceded in passing by her daughter Helen M. Graham; and grandchildren Roxann Johnson,Lonnie J. Bowman, and Tracy Ray Bowman. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, April 6th at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, with a Rite of Christian Burial beginning at 12:00 PM, officiated by Deacon Charles Springer. Edna will be laid to rest at Crown Point Cemetery immediately following services.
