Floyd Kenneth Humble, 85, of Kokomo went to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 6, 2019. He was born in Kokomo on June 1, 1934 to Walter and Lucy (Dunlap) Humble. Floyd joined the Army and saw action in Korea. When he came back to Kokomo he married his love, Pinnie Abney and spent 61 years together. They raised 5 wonderful children and 2 grandsons. Floyd was handy and worked as a machine repairman with TRW until he retired. Floyd was a member of the South Side Apostolic church here in Kokomo and the UAW Local 292. When he was younger, Floyd enjoyed spending time outdoors. He has quite a collection of antique muzzle loader guns that he liked to shoot. He also liked spending time working on and building model trains. More than anything, Floyd loved spending time with his family. He loved all of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren dearly and he will be greatly missed. Floyd is survived by his wife, Pinnie; children, Floyd R. Humble, John Humble, Curtis (Donna) Humble, Kenneth (Angie) Humble and Barbara (Matthew) Enstrom; grandchildren, Robert, Matthew, Brock, Brandon, Kolton, Cathryn, Cortney (Rob) Old, David, Sarah, Kathryn (Mayne) Spicer, and Elizabeth; great grandchildren, Rose, Kailynn, Amy, Cadence, Richard, Audrey, Carolyn, Katelyn, Karena and Kaison “Bubba”; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Floyd was preceded in death by his siblings. Family will receive friends Sunday, November 10 from 1-5pm at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, Indiana 46902 and the Funeral Service will be Monday, November 11 at 1pm at South Side Apostolic Church, 1716 E Firmin St, Kokomo, IN 46902 . In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
