Grace M. Freeman

at Kindred Care. She was born to the late Harry D. Shaver and Millicent McGrath on May 19, 1927.

She married Richard Freeman in Mount Morris, Michigan on June 5, 1948.

They enjoyed 63 years of marriage. He preceded her in death.

Grace graduated from Mount Morris High School in 1945 .

After graduation she worked for Eastern Air Lines and then Delco for several years.

After the children were born she stayed at home enjoying sewing, cooking, and baking.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist since 1976, and active in many functions

there throughout the years. Grace especially loved serving her Savior and

spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

Grace is survived by her son, Dan Freeman (Adriane) Kokomo, daughter,

Linda Martin (Rick) Kokomo, sisters, Milli Paxton, Lucy Gerhardt,

Linda Scott all from Michigan, grandchildren, Sara Munn (Bill), Alex Stang (Lucy),

Sam Freeman (Megan), Heidi Neher (Adam), Jensen Freeman, Adriana Freeman,

Sally Freeman, Amy Martin Shank and Andy Martin, great grandchildren,

Lola, Sullivan, Violet, Jade, Medeski, and Marlee Grace and several nieces and nephews.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard, and sister Helen Hickey.

Funeral Services for Grace will be Friday August 18, 2017 at 10 a.m.

at Calvary Baptist Church, 1967 W. Blvd. in Kokomo with

Pastor Jeff Sexton officiating. Visiting hours will be from 3p.m. to 7p.m.

Thursday, August 17, 2015 at Eller’s Mortuary Webster Chapel, 3400 South Webster, Kokomo, Indiana.

Burial following the funeral at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
