James "Jim" F. Nutter

James "Jim" F. Nutter, 82, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on May 14, 2022, at Community Howard Regional Health and entered fully into the presence of the Lord. Jim was born on November 18th, 1939 in Bergoo, WV. He was the son of Doy Levi and Helen Louise (Whitney) Nutter. Jim was raised in Richwood, WV. He graduated from Richwood High School in 1958. He married the love of his life Linda Harrington of Kokomo on August 19th, 1961. He retired from Chrysler in 2001 after working 39 years. Jim served in the Air Force from 1958-1963. Jim loved spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved going to see his family in West Virginia as often as possible. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting, skiing, boating, going on walks and reading westerns. Jim was a member of Hillside Baptist Church in Burlington, Indiana. Jim is survived by his loving wife Linda (Harrington) Nutter; his children, daughter Janice (Tim) Dillman, son Jimmy (Patty) Nutter, son Tony (Angie) Nutter and daughter Barbara Wright. Jim is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends who will miss his presence here. Jim is preceded in death by his parents Doy Levi Nutter and Helen Louise (Whitney) Nutter; sister Nina Jean Russell and brother-in-law Robert Russell; sister Barbara White; sister Sybil Loyd, and many others. A graveside service is scheduled for Thursday May 19th, 2022 at 10:00 am at New London Cemetery located at 2104 S. 766 W. Russiaville, IN. All who knew and loved Jim are welcome to attend!
