She graduated from Haworth High School and Indiana Business College and worked at 1st Farmers Bank and Trust. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she was active in the women’s society and was the children’s education director. She was a certified clown and was active in Miles of Smiles. She was a loving daughter and sister.
She is survived by her brother, Bruce (Anita) Haworth, Sharpsville; sister, Rita (Winfred) Parrish, Beaufort, North Carolina; six nieces and nephews; fifteen great-nieces and nephews; two great-great-nieces and nephews; special friend, Jeff Mannion; and her beloved beagle, Blake.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Sexton officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Calvary Baptist Church.
