Johnny Junior Graham

Johnny Junior Graham, 92, of Kokomo, passed away at 5:09 PM Friday September 8, 2017 at his residence. Born May 20, 1925 in Carroll County, he was the son of the late Jesse Graham and Eva (Smith) Graham. On April 3, 1948 in Carroll County, he married Waneta Leann (Britton), and she survives. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during World War II. He was employed with Chrysler Corporation for over 30 years, retiring in 1979.

He was a member of U.A.W. Local #685; enjoyed hunting, fishing, yardwork, and spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed his parrot “Nibbles”.

Survivors include his wife Waneta Leann Graham of Kokomo. There are also two sons, five daughters, one brother, twelve grandchildren, and nineteen great grandchildren, andseveral nieces and nephews.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and one grandchild.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday September 14, 2017 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo. Pastor Kerry Williams will officiate. Burial with military rites by the U.S. Army and the Kokomo Military Rites Team will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Thursday at the mortuary.
