Joyce Kay (Hinkle) Wiles

Joyce Kay (Hinkle) Wiles, 73, of Kokomo passed away Monday, August 27, 2018 in her home. She was born in Tipton County, Indiana on July 14, 1945 to Farold and Rosalind (Pendergrass) Hinkle. Joyce graduated Windfall High School in 1964 and went on to work at Delco Electronics for 30 years, retiring in 1994. She raised 6 children with her first husband and then on September 1, 2000, Joyce married Jimmie “Joe” Wiles. She was a member of Judson Road Christian Church. In her spare time, Joyce could be found shopping just about anywhere, especially rummage sales and antique malls. She also enjoyed art, expressing her creative side in ceramics and crafts. She loved most her family, looking forward to spending time with them any time they came to visit and at holiday gatherings. Joyce is survived by her husband, Jimmie (Joe) Wiles; children, Robert and Scott England, Melinda (Bill) Heady, Joe (Bea) Wiles, Jason (Ronetta) Michael, and Tammy Nape; sixteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and sister, Mary (Les) Railer. In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by 9 of her 10 siblings. Family will receive friends Wednesday, August 29 from noon-2pm at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 W. Alto Road, Kokomo, IN 46902. Service to follow at 2pm.
