Judith E. Wright, 58, Kokomo, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2011, at I.U. Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born December 20, 1953, in Benzie County, Michigan, to Joseph G. and Luanne (Dwyer) Knauer. She married Kem Wright, and he survives.
She had worked for the Sail Inn restaurant as a cook for many years, at Grissom Air Base for several years, and as a cashier for Kroger and Benjamin Franklin and had also served as secretary at Galveston Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and reading and was a very good mother.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Adam Wright; one daughter, Sarah Wright; one brother, Joseph Knauer; and four sisters, Diane Miles, Joanie Peck, Beverly Knauer, and Angela Williams.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Visiting hours will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
