Linda Sue Lawhead

Linda Sue Lawhead, age 79, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Waterford Place Health Campus. She was born in Robinson, Illinois on December 31, 1944 to the late Jack Nebergall and Betty (White) King, who survives. Linda married David Lawhead and he preceded her in death on June 14, 1999.

Linda was a homemaker. She attended Crossroads Church. Linda enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her daughters, DeAnna (Brent) Valdez and DiAnna Lawhead; mother, Betty King; grandchildren, Christian, Michael, Alexis, Carley, Denni, Autumn, Derek, and Lyndsey; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Julietta Buchanan, Benjamin King, Lavina Presley, Charles King, Anita Allender, and Kenneth King; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding in death is her husband, David; two sons, Dennis Lawhead and Danny Lawhead; and sister, Geanna Skaggs.

There will be a visitation for Linda on Friday, February 9, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM at Ellers Mortuary Main Chapel, 725 South Main Street, Kokomo, IN. Pastor Jeff Harlow will be officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
