

She sold for Stanley Home Products for 50 years. She was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church of Kokomo and attended the Oxford United Methodist Church of Oxford, Florida. She was active in the Mission Projects of the United Methodist Churches and was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She had a great sense of humor and was a great communicator. She was active in Tai Chi exercise program and enjoyed traveling, fishing, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Charles W. Smith of Russiaville; daughters, Myra Ann Lee of Scranton, Pennsylvania, and Sarah Beth Blanton of Russiaville; brother, Russell Huntley of Wilmette, Illinois; sister, Lydia Jo Boston of Carthage, Illinois; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Matthew) Collins, James Blanton, Amy (John) Peddie, Jason (Susan) Lee, and Eric (Erin) Lee; and three great-grandchildren, Cody Collins, Kyle Collins, and Jackson Peddie.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the Main Street United Methodist Church of Kokomo with Pastor Nancy Blevins officiating. She will be entombed at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery in Kokomo. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Main Street United Methodist Church of Kokomo for the Heifer Project, 830 South Main Street, Kokomo, IN 46901.
