

Lucy Frances Williams, 92, of Kokomo, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2015, at the Waterford Place. Lucy was born on November 5, 1922, to David and Iva (Washington) Dickson, in West Middleton, Indiana. She attended school and married Floyd L. Williams on May 4, 1941.
Lucy was a homemaker, enjoyed making cookies and noodles, and was the best pie maker. She loved her grandchildren and spending time with them. Lucy was a very sweet and kind woman. Despite her vision issue, she lived a normal life and drove a car. There was nothing she wouldn’t try. Lucy attended Bible Baptist Church here in Kokomo.
Survivors include her four daughters, Patsy (John) Benson of Kokomo, Peggy (Bill) Strunk of Lafayette, Barbara “Bobbie” (Dennis) Brantley of Kokomo, and Terri (John) Rupert also of Kokomo; eight grandchildren, Jeffery (Tammy) Keith, Christopher (Darcy) Keith, Kelly Keck, Mike Sharp, Nick (Alison) Brantley, Wesley Rupert, Cory Rupert, and Kasey Rupert; 19 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one grandchild, Jamey Brantley; and 13 brothers and sisters.
Services for Mrs. Lucy Williams will be on Monday, May 4, 2015, at 10am at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 W. Alto Rd., Kokomo, with Pastors Keith Treadway & William Carmichael officiating.
