Marc Allen Groves

Marc Allen Groves, 66, of Kokomo passed away at 6:05 PM Saturday September 22, 2018 at Community Howard Regional Health. Born December 9, 1951 in Kokomo, he was the son of Marian (Heronemous) Groves and the late Clifford Groves. He was employed with Chrysler Corporation for 12 years. He was a pipefitter and master fabricator. He was a member of U.A.W. Local #440. He enjoyed motorcycles, drawing, fishing, cooking out, and going on vacations with his family. He was also an avid Elvis Presley fan. He loved having coffee and doughnuts with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his mother Marian Groves of Kokomo; two sons Mitchell A.(Candace) Groves and Mason A. (companion-Molly Fivecoate) Groves, both of Kokomo; one daughter Miriah A.Groves of Kokomo; his children's mother Melody A. Groves of Kokomo; two brothers William "Bill" Groves and Richard (Terri) Groves, both of Kokomo; one sister Sherill Hill of Greentown. There are also seven grandchildren Christopher, Curtiss, Emma, Marian, Brooklynn, Jacquelynn, and Jocelynn; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Clifford Groves.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday September 29, 2018 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo. Pastor David Osborne will officiate. Cremation will follow. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday at the mortuary.
