Margaret Irene Day

Margaret graduated from Taylor High School in 1971, and shortly thereafter was married to Carl Ewbank. Carl preceded Margaret in passing on August 21, 1972. Margaret worked for Delco Electronics for 30 years, retiring in 2002.

In her free time, Margaret enjoyed keeping herself occupied by playing the piano, singing, dancing, swimming, and watching episodes of I Love Lucy. She also loved to ride roller coasters and would frequently take trips to Cedar Point Amusement Park. More than anything, Margaret enjoyed being around her grandchildren and being involved in their activities.

Margaret is survived by her children, Donna (Mike Rood) Sheets, and Justin Aeschliman; and grandchildren, Dylan Sheets, Haley (Trevor Featherston) Sheets, Megan Sheets, and Devin Sheets.

In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was preceded in passing by a brother, Danny Keith.

There will be a visitation for Margaret held at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home on Sunday, January 19th from 11 am – 2 pm, followed immediately by a funeral service. Margaret will be laid to rest at a later date at Crown Point Cemetery in Kokomo.
