

She graduated from Kokomo High School in June 1955. She worked for the phone company and retired in 1994. After her retirement, she kept busy at First Christian Church as a deacon, S.O.S., a senior group, and several Bible study groups. She was involved with CASA as a volunteer and the Backpack Buddies Program, and she served as a mentor at Bon-Air School. She enjoyed traveling with her church and other groups and had just returned from a mission trip to Kenya on April 2.
She is survived by one son, Steve Timberman, and one grandson, Steven (Mathias) Timberman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Pete Timberman and Richard Young; one son, Mark Timberman; and five brothers, Jack, Jim, Dorval, Bob and Roy Young.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at First Christian Church with Pastors Mary Pruiett and Will Jewsbury officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
