Michael Gene McCarter, 71, of Peru, Indiana passed away on August 2, 2022. He was born on May 8, 1951 in Kokomo, IN the son of Roger and Betty McCarter (Campbell). He married Kathleen Ann McCarter (Smith) who survives.
Michael loved to fish and be outdoors. He worked at Handy Hardware for several years.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Kathy McCarter of Peru, IN; son, Chad McCarter (Deanna) of Kokomo, IN; daughters, Christina "Kissy" Foster of Kokomo, IN; Jennifer Pemberton of Kokomo, IN; mother, Betty McCarter of Kokomo, IN; grandchildren, Austin Foster; Tyler Foster; Cody Foster; Keifer Britton; Wyatt Britton; Brielle McCarter; great grandsons, Colton and Jaxon; sister, Debbie Schmitt (Dave) and an Aunt, Joyce Addison (Eddie).
He was preceded in death by his father, Roger McCarter; grandparents, Clarence and Dorothea McCarter and Charles and Stella Campbell.
