Michelle devoted 39 beautiful years to her beloved husband, Phil Ennis, building a life rooted in deep love, family, and unwavering loyalty. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure and cherished with her whole heart.
A creative soul, Michelle found comfort and joy in knitting and crocheting, often sharing her handmade treasures as heartfelt gifts to those she loved. Each stitch reflected the warmth, patience, and care that defined her spirit.
A woman with a truly giving heart, Michelle was especially passionate about her work with Kokomo Schools, where she dedicated herself to supporting children with special needs. Her compassion, patience, and kindness left a lasting impact on countless students and families who were blessed to know her.
Michelle was a devoted advocate for breast cancer awareness, proudly embracing all things pink as a living tribute to her beloved daughter, Sabrina Lane, whose life was taken far too soon. Even in loss, Michelle carried her daughter’s strength, courage, and light with her every day. Honoring Sabrina was woven into who Michelle was—through her compassion for others, her unwavering support for those facing illness, and the quiet grace with which she turned grief into purpose. Her love for her daughter never wavered, and Sabrina’s legacy lives on through the awareness, hope, and kindness Michelle so faithfully shared.
Michelle leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, Phil Ennis; step-son, Brian Meagher; sister, Ruthie (Bryan) Ellis; brother, Timothy (Amber) Kennedy; adopted daughter, Sharon Pierson; her “adopted daughter”niece, Jessica Koon; brothers-in-law, Mike Ennis and Jeff Ennis; sister-in-law, Linda White; many beloved nieces and nephews; and her treasured grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom were a constant source of pride and joy in her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; the light of her life and very special daughter, Sabrina Lane; and her siblings, Tilmon Kennedy, Steve Kennedy, Victor Kennedy, and Cindy (Herman) Suttles.
