

Mina Lou Gentry, 85, passed away on Sunday afternoon, August 6, 2017. She was born to Wayne N. and T. Rose Gore on August 18, 1931 in Kokomo. Mina graduated from Kokomo High School in 1949. She married William Gentry on June 16, 1950, and he preceded her in death on January 11, 2008. Mina retired from GM. She was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her brothers and sisters, family, and friends -especially her grandchildren.
Mina is survived by sons Steven (Elizabeth) Gentry of Kokomo, John (Susan) Gentry of Ft. Wayne, and Gary (Michelle) Gentry of Kokomo; brother Richard Gore; sisters Freda Tharp and Margaret Goldsberry; 10 grandchildren Erin Geiselman, Lori Anne Rose, Travis Gentry, Stephanie Stevens, Joshua Gentry, Katelyn Gentry, Alyssa Gentry, Madison Gentry, Courtney Gentry, and Jacob Gentry; 8 great-grandchildren Christian Robinson, Jonah Geiselman, Elizabeth Joyce Geiselman, Ayden Gentry, Benjamin Stevens, Thomas Stevens, Adalyn Gentry, and Jackson Gentry;
She is preceded in death by her husband, William L. Gentry; grandson Zachary Gentry; and 2 brothers Wayne “Todd” and David Gore.
Visitation will be from 11:00AM to 1:00PM, Wednesday August 9, 2017 at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel, with a service to follow at 1:00PM. Pastor David Osborne is officiating. Mina will be laid to rest at Albright Cemetery.
