Mondellia Yvette Rickey, 66, Kokomo, passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2010, at her residence. She was born April 27, 1944, in Kokomo, to Roque and Glendale (Seals) Flick. She was a homemaker and formerly a hairdresser.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, John Rickey, who is retired from the U.S. Air Force; a son, Lieutenant Colonel Jon Rickey, stationed at Fort Belvoir, Virginia; a daughter-in-law, Jamie Rickey; a grandson, Jack Rickey; and a sister, Tammy Flick, of Kokomo.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Michaelia “Mike” Flick, and two sisters, Sheilia Flick and Cynthia Oats.
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Visiting hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Condolences to the family can be made at www.sunsetmemorygarden.com.
