Nina Ann Coombs

Nina made Kokomo her home in 1943 and worked at General Motors from 1963 until she retired in 1990. Nina married Cleatus L. Coombs in 1946.

She is survived by sons; Michael K. Coombs (Samrye), Tumwater, WA and Kevin K. Coombs (Jennifer), Kokomo. Grandchildren; Summer Coombs (Alie Ehrensaft), Colorado Springs, CO, Kane Combs, Kokomo, Danelle Larrison, Kokomo, Tyler French, Indianapolis and Trent (Jenny) French, Clinton, IN. Great grandchildren; Sam, Nathan, Hannah, Jackson, Elli and Trinity. Numerus nieces, nephews, grandnieces & nephews and great grandnieces & nephews.

Nina is preceded in death by her parents, siblings; Elmo (Zula) Burton, Woodrow (Dorothy) Burton, Marshall (Rosabee) Burton, Frank (Sue) Burton, Bonnie (Nolan) Burton, Hazel (Paul) Burton, Jane (Bill) Daniels and grandson Jonas Coombs.

She was a devoted member of the Ladies Auxiliary Fraternal Order of The Eagles and Local UAW 292. Nina had a sizable family whom she thought the world of. She especially enjoyed spending time with them going to all the family gatherings.

A committal celebration of her life will be Monday June 24, 2019 12noon at Sunset Memory Gardens in the Chapel of Love Mausoleum. A gathering of friends will be the same day, Monday June 24, 2019 from 10:45am until 11:45am at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel.
